Last year and in this upcoming school year I have/will be taking photography for my elective. I have to admit my thoughts never strayed towards Photography, Art, or anything of that matter until the deciding of my electives. It felt like something new. Fresh. Of course I still feel like I never want to take Art, but Photography, overall, has been a good experience for me. Its fun as a hobby. My half sister's major in college was photography as well, and she even met her somebody there. Sometimes I wonder...

Will photography take me there as well?

So, because I am continuing on into Photography II next year and because (even though I didn't want to) my mom made me go into World History AP, my mom made me a wonderous deal. She told me she would buy me a good digital camera. So she searched the net, and arrived. She considered Nikons too, but apparently she liked the Canon one (and it had a mega deal for another lens). I got the Canon Kiss x2. So you're probably like... THERE'S NO CAMERA CALLED THAT! Aha! but there is! Its called Canon Rebel here. I know... confusing. Anyways the usual people from Japan came (they do business things here and there) so my mom asked them to bring the camera with them, cuz she's old friends with them. And so my Camera arrives! and yes, yes I am happy.

Book Recommendation: Memory Keeper's Daughter by Kim Edwards

I have to say it didn't grab me like any other teenage romance novels or anything, well, mostly because its an adult novel. More slow, more real. Because of that it took me the whole year to read, but only because I procrastinated. I just finished it last night.

The emotions described in the book are so real, so imaginable, you couldn't help but feel them with each character. Of course, I cried. 'One choice can affect so many people' That concept was shown brilliantly starting from the first chapter, then through the whole book. Honestly even though I procrastinated in the beginning, the last half seemed urgent, almost, that you read it... It shows life's layers of people, and the colorful emotions of a human.

I would recommend this book only if you are willing to read the whole thing. Start reading half-heartedly and you won't understand. Everything in the whole book is something you have to think in the character's point of view. Also if you are an emotional person like me (like me=cries in pokemon movies xD ) then be warned... it is sad, but a wonderful book!
